This year several brides chose to use family or friends as their photographers, but we were delighted to welcome London based Patrick Butler Madden back to Santo Stefano again. We asked him how he would describe his style:

“I like to think of my approach as being natural and spontaneous without being formulaic. I love to concentrate on the details as well as the bigger picture documenting the day as it happens without too much intervention. I also like to mix in other areas of photography into my wedding style such as interiors and landscape to create a lasting memory of your day.”

Another popular photographer, based on the outskirts of Treia itself, is Carlo Bartolozzi.

The Italian style of photography is generally quite different from the British approach - and often you will find that the shots are a bit posed and unnatural. Italians love them ... but Carlo is very flexible, and can adapt to suit a more relaxed style.

He is also flexible on price, and as he is just down the road he is happy to come just for an hour and provide a CD of images, or can provide a full photographic service, complete with a beautifully crafted album.
